Bell Bay Golf Club
Spectacular views and great golf
The beautiful and historic village of Baddeck, Nova Scotia provides a
remarkable setting for one of the Canada’s best golf courses. Sitting up
above the Bras d’Or Lakes, Bell Bay offers a challenging and enjoyable day
for golfers of all abilities along with incredible views from nearly every
hole. The Thomas McBroom designed layout opened for play in 1997.
Complimenting the superb course is a finely stocked pro shop, golf academy
and one of the largest practice facilities in Canada. To round out your day,
stop by the charming clubhouse for excellent food, served by an
accommodating staff, and more panoramic views of the Bay and the Bell
Estate.
The course is a positive contributor to the economy of Baddeck, providing
employment for about 50 residents and, by attracting thousands of golfers to
the community each year, local businesses benefit. Many area accommodation
operators have reported a major increase in their shoulder season traffic.
Highly acknowledged during its brief history, Bell Bay was named “best new
course in Canada” by Golf Digest magazine in 1998.
