Dugas captures eleventh Canadian PGA Atlantic Zone Championship

Kevin Dugas of Country Meadows, near Moncton, NB, captured his eleventh Canadian PGA Atlantic Zone Championshipon Sunday. Played at Stanhope Golf & CC. this annual championship for CPGA Atlantic professionals, sponsored by Jazz Golf, was held in conjunction with the Stanhope Open , 8-9-10 August at the 6,600 yard, par 72 seaside layout, in the heart of PEI's beach district.

Dugas fashioned rounds of 67-69=136 for a three stroke edge over Tim McCullum, of The Algonquin, St.Andrew's, NB, who counted rounds of 73-66=139.

Richard Dumeah of Osprey Ridge, Bridgewater, NS won low senior honors following a two hole playoff with Doug Sullivan of Country Meadows. They had been tied at 151. Dumeah on rounds of 73-78 and Sullivan with 78-73

Low amateur of the event was Chris MacGregor of Belvedere
