Dugas Wins Callaway Cup Stableford Event at Royal Oaks

Kevin Dugas, of the Links at Montague, posted a one point victory at the Callaway Cup
Stableford event, played at Royal Oaks Golf Club, Moncton, NB on Monday 23 August.

The Dartmouth, NS professional scored 24 Stableford points at the 7,100 yard, par 72 links style layout for the win.

In second place was Brent McKay of Sussex Golf & CC, Sussex, NB with 23 points. Tied for third with 22 points were Chris Billings of Kingswood, Fredericton, NB and Troy Howe of Moncton Golf & CC, Moncton, NB

Thirty-two CPGA Atlantic professionals played in the event, using the following scoring values.

Hole-in-one 7 points
Double Eagle 6 points
Eagle 5 points
Birdie 2 points
Par 1 point
Bogey 0 points

The Callaway Cup, sponsored by Callaway Canada, is a series of four events on the Canadian PGA Atlantic Tour.

The next Callaway Cup event will be a Pro-Pro team competition at Fox Harb’r in Fox Harb’r, NS on 20 September.

The next event on the CPGA Atlantic Tour will be the Tour Championship at The Algonquin, St.Andrews, NB
on 27-28-29 September.
